Thank you for your interest in joining our artist team. Let us tell you a little bit about how we work:
We contract artists on a per event basis to provide services for large groups requiring multiple service providers. Our roles are great for beauty artists who are interested in filling gaps in their books and emerging artists with flexible availability for bookings. Most our bookings are held Thursday-Sunday, with the random weekday event. Some training is provided based on services.
Reliability is paramount to be successful in this role. Our artists show up to events at least 30 minutes prior to start time for setup and remain on-site throughout the event, with breaks as needed.
We pay per event, right after the event is complete! Pay is competitive and varies by experience and the type of service being provided (makeup, hairstyling, glitter artist, face paint, etc).
A virtual chat will be scheduled for all qualified applicants to discuss experience, pay expectations, and availability. We encourage you to bring all of your questions during this time, we'll be happy to answer! After this, we'll schedule an in-person trial for you to show off your skills and finalize the details!

Requirements:
•Hairstylists and makeup artists must hold a valid Texas cosmetology license.
•Hairstylists, makeup artists, and face painters must have examples of their work (Instagram, FB, or website).
•Hair and makeup artists must provide a basic kit.
•A paid cosmetic hygiene and setup training session must be completed before your first booking.
•Must be able to pass a background check
•Valid drivers license and vehicle insurance if driving yourself to events. When possible, we'll provide transportation (pickup/drop off), especially for events held outside of Austin.
